TIPS FOR ORGANIZING & HOSTING THE PERFECT PARTY LOUNGE SOIREE
1. Invite your girlfriends. E-vites are free and are the quickest way to send out your party details and receive RSVP’s. This method works especially well for last-minute plans. Another option is sending out invitations by mail. This involves a bit of cost (invitations, stamps, envelopes) and a bit of your time as you will have to follow up to ensure the invitations were received and get confirmation of attendance. Please add to your party details for guests to arrive 15min. early and to wear or bring a pair of flip flops or sandals.
2. Book the Party Lounge. The last thing you want is to be disappointed because the Party Lounge is already booked! We recommend that you try and book the Party Lounge at your preferred spa location (see below) by telephone at least 3-4 weeks in advance. We do understand that not everyone is a long-term planner so please feel confident in knowing we will always do our very best to accommodate your last minute celebration plans!
3. Confirm your booking one week in advance. This step will ensure there are no miscommunications in booking and any additional questions or requests you have can be answered or taken care of. Confirming your booking in advance will ensure your party begins at the appointed time and you and your girlfriends can just relax and enjoy your time together!
4. Food & Beverages. Decide if you would like to bring in snacks/finger foods and beverages. You will need to supply your own plates, cutlery, napkins, corkscrew and wine glasses. The spa can supply disposable cups if necessary. Please ensure that the food you bring in is ready to go, no on-site prepping is permitted. We suggest you choose finger foods as they are the most convenient to eat when seated at the manicure or pedicure station (or when your one hand is occupied by a wine glass!). Most local grocery stores sell pre-made or made-to-order party platters, which are a time-saving convenience!
5. Decorations. Feel free to enhance your party experience by bringing in your own decorations to commemorate the celebration! Decorations that require hanging from the ceiling or nailed/tacked to walls are not permitted. We recommend stand-up decorations or decorations that can just be taped to the walls.
6. Contact and confirm with your party. Connect with your guests about 3-4 days prior to the party to ensure everyone is still confirmed. Please remember that the Party Lounge price per person only applies when there is a minimum of 4 guests. If someone backs out of your party and you have less than 4 guests confirmed, everyone will have to pay full price for their manicure/pedicure services. Remind everyone to wear or bring their flip flops/sandals and anything else that they were asked to bring to ensure the party is a success.
7. Arrive early. All guests must arrive at least 15min. prior. If any group member arrives late, their service may have to be shortened to accommodate the booking time. By arriving early, you as the hostess will have time to organize the food and beverages and put up any decorations.
8. After the party. You and your party may be permitted to stay in the Party Lounge for up to an extra 15min. to allow time for your polish to dry (if the Party Lounge is not immediately booked right after) or you may be escorted to the sanctuary.
9. Gratuity. Gratuity is not included in the price of the service. If you and your guests are completely satisfied with your services and experience, you may leave a gratuity with your service provider or at the front desk during payment.
